Energy Costs

Industrial users pay less than the national average for power in South Carolina. South Carolina has four major electrical utility companies with 16,000 megawatt capacity. The state has two interstate natural gas pipeline companies with ample, low-cost natural gas. South Carolina is home to the second and third largest river basins on the East Coast with supplies of 33 billion gallons a day.
